Firefest consists of a large group of people getting together, making use of fire
& generally having a good time.
Of course activities such as ultimate frisbee and games take place as well.
Beaker came up with a tent for Mike & I to use for the night
so we wouldn't have to worry about severe allergic reactions to Jo's kitty.
I do apologize for the lack of quality on some of these pictures
but my digital camera isn't the best for what I was attempting.
I didn't add descriptions because I don't remember the names
of all the people who were there.
Some excitement for the weekend included fireworks that preferred to sit in people's laps rather than shoot into the sky.
No one was injured in that case but I am glad I asked Jo to put my hair back earlier that afternoon.
While playing ultimate frisbee I managed to get my disc stuck in a pine tree.
Since it was my fault I had no big issue with it until someone threw another one up to knock the first down
& it stayed up there too. Then both were followed by a brick that also managed to get stuck.
The tree was hefty, what can I say? But through the valiant efforts of young Woodruff, all three were returned.
I then managed to make the best catch of the day with my back. Too bad it was for the other team. :P
I think most everyone had fun.
