This Phalaenopsis Melody is one of several orchids I picked up from the local hardware store bargain bin for $3.  They can't reflower them, so that's the last stop before getting pitched; fortunately, this one was in wonderful shape.  This hybrid was never registered, but it's extremely floriferous.  I've seen larger plants with four and five spikes at a time.  This one has been trying to flower almost since I got it, but it wasn't successful until I could move it out to the porch for the warm season.
