The Bryan Nature Preservere in Clinton County, Indiana is an interesting place.  It's a 29 acre parcel of forest stranded in the middle of Indiana cornfields.  Despite having virtually no interesting geography (it's as flat as a pancake), it was so densely packed with spring wildflowers that the trip to it was very worthwhile.
