This set of pictures is from two days of hiking along roadsides in the Pinelands, with stops at Franklin Parker Preserve, Greenwood Forest WMA, and Wharton State Forest.  Along one roadside in an unmowed grassy area, we found a nice population of the southern slender lady's tresses, Spiranthes lacera var. gracilis.  This marks the twenty-eighth orchid I've seen in New Jersey.
