This photo set is from the Watchung Reservation, a rather sizable park just a few miles from my home. It's got a reasonable 10 mile trail through the Watchung mountains, although the park's location between I-78 and US-22 makes traffic noise a constant reminder that this park overlooks urban New Jersey. There isn't much in the way of spectacular scenery, but I did manage to catch some of the very first of the spring wildflowers.
